Rules for Indian Nations Live-Open Division:
E For the purposes of this show, a model entered in
an OF Halter or Performance class is a plastic, china or resin model of
any make in original factory finish, with undetectable touchups or
repairs. A model entered in a CM Halter
or Performance class is any horse that has been altered in color, position,
or texture. CM Halter or Performance
will also include Artist Resins, altered
E For each class
you will have a 3x5 card/paper with your horse’s name, breed, sex and your
name/initials. The judge will keep the
cards for the 1-8 placers in each class.
You will also provide a new card for each horse that is called back for
Champion/Reserve placing. A string tag identifying
your horse would also be a good idea to prevent mix ups. The card method will prevent writing fatigue
and error. It will also eliminate the
need to turn in a list of your horses at the end of the show. PLEASE PRINT CLEARLY! IF I CAN’T READ IT, IT GOES ON THE OFFICIAL
NAMHSA OFFICIAL RECORD AS WHATEVER I INTERPRET IT AS!
E There is a limit of 4 horses per class, per
shower. Make sure your horse only enters
one breed class in one halter division.
E Handlers are optional (but helpful) if you choose a
Showmanship entry, and carts are optional if you have a harness entry.
E There will be a limit of 10 minutes between
performance classes. NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE DO YOUR BEST TO COMPLY.
E 3x5 cards or other means of explanations of your
performance entries are extremely helpful to the judges, unless it is obvious
what the horse is doing. Appropriate
obstacles/accessories are required for the trail, jumping, Western Games, and
Working Western classes. Dolls are not
required.
E Any class will be split if the entries warrant.
The penny method will be used to reduce class sizes as needed.
ALL ENTRANTS MUST, I REPEAT MUST,
TURN IN AN ENTRY FORM. TOO MANY OF US
DON’T BOTHER, THEN THE SHOWHOLDER HAS
