#1353 Kuchi, Gypsy Vanner

In stock now! 2 available.

Bill and Wendy Ricci's piebald (black and white) mare Kuchi occupies a special place in history as the first Gypsy Vanner born in America. She was foaled on March 18, 1999 and is the only offspring of the famous mare Bat. Kuchi's sire, The Gypsy King (the second stallion ever imported to America), was also immortalized as a Breyer model. The ideal Vanner, such as Kuchi, resembles a small Shire, with more feathering (leg hair), a more refined head, and more color.
The real Kuchi was seen at BreyerFest 2009! The models I have in stock are the mare version. Breyer released a limited number of a gelding versions (at the first of 2009) before changing the mold to the mare version.
This model was retired at the end of 2010.
Choking hazard - small parts- due to the model's stand.
